Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr VE.Can Solar Charge Controller EAN 8719076050889

The Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr VE.Can is an advanced mppt charge controller that optimizes the power harvest from your solar panels. This intelligent solar regulator is designed for 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V battery systems, delivering a maximum charge current of 70 Amps. It is the perfect power solution for an off-grid solar system, marine applications in a boat or yacht, and mobile use in a camper van or caravan.

Features and smart monitoring This high-quality photovoltaic controller utilizes ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking. This ensures up to thirty percent higher energy yield compared to standard controllers, especially during overcast skies or partial shade. The fanless design delivers an outstanding efficiency of 98 percent and whisper-quiet operation. The unique BatteryLife algorithm intelligently manages battery state of charge to prevent deep discharge and extend battery bank lifespan. Real-time data can be accessed via an optional Bluetooth dongle or a GX device using the free VictronConnect app.

Key benefits and specifications

  • Equipped with a VE.Can communication port to synchronize up to 25 chargers in parallel using RJ45.

  • Supports a high maximum solar input voltage of 250V and a powerful 70A charging current.

  • Seamless integration with the VRM portal through a Cerbo GX for centralized remote energy management.

  • Active electronic protection against short circuits, over-temperature, and reverse polarity.

Installation and user manual Mount the BlueSolar MPPT vertically on a non-flammable surface with the terminals facing downwards. First, connect the battery bank to the Tr screw terminals to allow automatic system voltage detection. Next, connect the PV cables from your solar array. Optionally, link the VE.Can bus for multi-charger synchronization. Open the app on your smartphone or use a GX interface to configure the correct battery profile, such as lithium or AGM. The battery charger then operates fully automatically.
